f. 222a, was transcribed by Dúst Muhammad b. 'Abo
Wahid b. Sheykh Mustafá "the Israelite" (
for Lála Zorawar Singh, son of Keshorá'e, son of Od
and the t ,(لاله) زور آور سنگه ولد کیشورای این اودیراج)
scription was completed on Saturday, Sha'bán 15th, A
1124 (Sept. 17th, A. D. 1712), in the first year
Jahándár's reign.

written obliquely, in margin. Many of the leaves are
much repaired. The commentary begins abruptly after
the Bismilláh without preface or introduction as follows:
قصيده في عدم الطمع و الشكايت (sic) الزمان التخلّص بنعت
النبى بحر مجتث اضرب على هذه الوزن مفاعلن فعلاتن مفاعلن
فعلن عروس عافیت آنگه قبول کرد مرا که عمر بیش بها

This qasida will be found at p. 200 et seq. of Nawal
Kishor's lithographed edition of A. H. 1293. The Com-
mentary is a very meagre one, and deals only with a
few selected verses. The second qaşida commentated
begins on f. 56 (ed. Nawal Kishor, p. 204). To each
verse explained is prefixed the word in red letters,
but otherwise the text is continuous, and for the most
part there is nothing to mark the transition from one
qasida to another.
Ends with the explanation of the following verses (ed.
Nawal Kishor, p. 482, 11. 5 and 6):
