Juratus et examinatus deponit that after the tyme th[a]t
Jeremy Goose & Thomas Hobson had referred
the matters then in difference betwene him & the s[ai]d
Thomas Hobson to the arbitrement of M[aster]
do[cto]r Bainbridg
this deponent & M[aster] Redinge & after they had entered
into bond[es] to stande to there awarde, and after
the tyme that this deponent & the sayd Arbitrators
had entered into the examinac[i]on of the differences
betwene them, & before the awarde exhibited was made
this deponent & the other Arbitrators findinge that the
debt w[hi]ch the sayd Thomas Hobson did owe unto
unto the sayed Jeremye Goose would fall hevey
uppon him, he this deponent did sende his
man boye ware unto the sayd Tho[mas] Hobson to
knowe whither this deponent should make an end
of the differences betwene them, for yf the sayd
Thomas Hobson were not willinge to have an
ende then this deponent bade his sayd boye tell
him that he this deponent would medle noe
further in the sayd Cause, And then
this deponent[es] sayd boye brought word to th[is]
deponent from the s[ai]d
Tho[mas] Hobson th[a]t he had
spoken w[i]th the s[ai]d Hobson & tould him what
this deponent had bidden him & that the s[ai]d
Tho[mas] Hobson did intreate this deponent &
thereof to make an ende of the sayd
difference, & after th[a]t the sayd Tho[mas] Hobson
before the awarde was made did sende this
deponent a noate to make an ende of the s[ai]d
difference, & Thomas Hobson himselfe before the
order was made did come to this deponent &
then this deponent tould the sayd Thomas Hobson
that yf they did goe one to make an award
it would fall hevye uppon him Hobson, & then
agayne the sayd Thomas Hobson intreated the s[ai]d
this deponent to make an ende of the sayd difference
