Nemophila insignis—   
Some flowers in fresh plants were crssed & producd 4 t1 5 pods with 7, 5, 16 & 24 seeds —
Some flowers were self-fert & prduced 5 pods with 6, 16, 16, 18, & 10 seeds — So crossing apparntly does not increse fertility .—
[ 1869. May 16    Yng Plants 2—3 inches high t tips of leaves , most of th crossed seem to have som advantage.]t2
