[Sept 10’ 7’ A/m an eighth purple. The ninth (Sept 18th) has now germinated. The 10th thrown away before.

«Three» Peas germinated vy quickly viz in 36O, so that a little difference in time is gret for them. Now th 4 crossed peas germinated on average 13O before th 4 first of purple-podded out of 10 peas of those , & th hang a choice is important for other «purple-podded» did not germinate for some time «afterwads». The crssed peas germinated at a ‹much› «still» longer average interval before th self-fert. mother Champion peas . —t4
